DOUG WEITZ
Doug Weitz, President, personally oversees all aspects of the company’s operations. A licensed general contractor with over 40 years’ experience in construction management, real estate development and finance and property management, he holds an MBA with an emphasis on Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. Before founding Monroe, Doug held positions in construction management, real estate development and finance. Doug’s broad perspective and personal experience in dealing with a full range of property types account for his exceptional ability to find innovative solutions to difficult, project-related problems.

JAY MORIN
Jay Morin, Vice President, joined Monroe in 2017 as a Project Manager, has quickly advanced up the ranks and now oversees all pre-construction services, estimating and project management. A seasoned construction professional with a formal education in Construction Management from California State, Long Beach, Jay began his career in the industry over 30 years ago as a laborer. Subsequently, he became a Project Engineer for an asbestos abatement and demolition company and was later promoted to General Manager for that company’s structural fireproofing division. Following that, Jay spent 18 years in the homebuilding industry. Having known Jay throughout his entire career, we were thrilled to have him join us on the commercial side.

DES BUNTING
Des joined Monroe Living to assist in the formation of Monroe Living and more importantly, to manage our residential development operations. In so doing, he brought great success to our Seville at Paradiso Project in Indio, California. He brings over 30 plus years of residential building and development experience in communities throughout Southern California. During his career, Des has worked in senior management overseeing regional offices for such notable home builders including NYSE traded William Lyon Homes and Toll Brothers. From land acquisition through the construction and sale of 2,750 attached and detached homes, Des has been responsible for generating revenues in excess of $1B. Des is a licensed California real estate broker and is a graduate of the University Southern California School of Business.

TOM ELLIOT
Tom has spent his entire 40+ year career in the construction industry starting as a framing contractor which provided a foundation for his commercial and residential building knowledge. He has built several hundred attached and detached residential units throughout Southern California but has also been built multiple ground up commercial office, retail and restaurant projects. Just prior to joining the Monroe and the Paradiso Team, Tom completed 55 semi-custom 4,000 to 5,000 square foot homes known as Madison Estates in Indio, California.

PATRICIA CLACK
Patricia is accomplished award-winning Sales Consultant that has spent most of her real estate career specializing in the new home industry. She initially started as a Sales Agent but shortly after receiving her California broker’s license was promoted to Director of Sales for Paragon Homes in 2002. Patricia’s portfolio of work included thousands of closed escrows throughout California and Nevada which has proven to be a strong asset to the sales and marketing operation at Monroe. Born and raised in England, Pat attended a small woman’s college in Wales UK, receiving her degree in economics and finance. Upon arriving in the United States, she lived in Connecticut and worked in New York City on Wall Street for several years before settling in California.
